The "RI Cone" is a ground investigation system composed of a cone probe group that includes the RI density cone and the RI moisture meter cone, which measure the wet density and moisture content using RI, in addition to the three components measured by conventional electric cone penetration tests, along with a dedicated penetration vehicle and data recording equipment. It enables rapid and detailed acquisition and calculation of physical property values such as density and moisture ratio, in addition to understanding ground strength and soil classification, directly in the field.
